Responsible breeding requires more than simply pairing two cats. At Mantra Cats, we carefully plan each breeding with the goal of improving the health, temperament, and physical characteristics of our lines.
We study pedigrees, evaluate genetic compatibility, and select pairings designed to produce kittens with strong breed type and stable, affectionate personalities.
Each breeding cat receives appropriate veterinary care and health screening before breeding. This helps us make informed breeding decisions and provide kittens with the strongest possible foundation for a healthy life.
Our cats come from established bloodlines with documented pedigrees. We maintain detailed records of lineage, health information, and breeding outcomes.
Our breeding program includes Polo, a blue British Shorthair male who earned his CFA Gulf Shore Regional Championship title in 2024–2025.
This achievement reflects evaluation by experienced CFA judges against the British Shorthair breed standard at sanctioned shows.
Polo contributes excellent breed type, dense coat quality, and the calm temperament associated with the British Shorthair.
Our breeding cats are selected with attention to breed type, health, temperament, pedigree, and overall quality.

Registration and pedigree documentation provide families with a documented record of a kitten's lineage and registered parents.
Mantra Cats is registered with the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA). Participation in recognized cat registries allows eligible cats to be evaluated within established breed standards.
Mantra Cats is also registered with The International Cat Association (TICA).
Every kitten at Mantra Cats grows up inside our family home rather than in cages or isolated enclosures.
From birth, kittens experience normal household activity, including everyday sounds such as vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, doorbells, television, and regular family life.
We handle our kittens regularly from an early age and expose them to normal human interaction. This helps them become comfortable with the sights, sounds, and routines they are likely to encounter in their future homes.
By the time kittens are ready to leave at approximately 12–16 weeks, they have experienced a variety of normal household situations and are accustomed to indoor family life.
