Mantra Cats is a small, family-run British Shorthair and British Longhair cattery located in the Houston, Texas area. Our goal is to raise kittens that reflect the qualities we value most in the breed: health, temperament, structure, and beauty.
Our cats are carefully selected from pedigreed European lines, with a focus on responsible breeding and preserving the distinctive characteristics of the British Shorthair and British Longhair.
Our cats and kittens live together in a shared home environment rather than separate enclosures. From an early age, kittens experience normal household sounds, human interaction, handling, and play.
This home environment helps kittens become accustomed to the sights, sounds, and routines of everyday family life before they join their new homes.
Our approach is built around documented pedigrees, responsible breeding, a family home environment, and continued support for the families who welcome our kittens.
Our program includes CFA Regional Champion Polo, with documented show credentials and pedigree information.
Our cats and kittens grow up in our home and experience daily human interaction and normal household life.
Our breeding program participates in recognized CFA and TICA registration systems, with applicable documentation.
We remain available to families for questions about nutrition, grooming, care, adjustment, and behavior.

Each kitten receives age-appropriate veterinary care and health preparation, with applicable documentation provided according to the adoption agreement.
Every Mantra Cats kitten leaves prepared, documented, and supported for the transition into a new family.
CFA or TICA registration and pedigree documentation are available according to the applicable terms.
Veterinary examination and appropriate health preparation before departure.
Age-appropriate vaccinations are documented as part of the kitten's health records.
Deworming and applicable health information are documented in the kitten's health records.
Completed according to the applicable adoption agreement and veterinary requirements.
Microchip identification is provided before the kitten leaves for its new home.
