Expected Litters August–September: Blue, Chocolate, White, Lilac, Black & More
Our August and September litters are on the way, and we are expecting British Shorthair and British Longhair kittens in some of our most requested and rare colors — from classic Blue to the elusive Lilac and striking Odd Eyed whites. Kittens born this window will be ready to go home right in time for the holidays — the perfect Christmas gift for your family.
Colors Expected August–September
Each litter carries its own mix of coat colors and eye colors, shaped by the genetics of our champion breeding stock. Here is what we are expecting across our upcoming British Shorthair and British Longhair litters this window.
British Longhairs, Too
British Longhair kittens will also be available in these same colors this season, featuring flowing silky coats that add an extra layer of elegance to every one of these patterns.
Same colors, longer coat
Every color and eye combination above will be represented in our British Longhair litters as well as our Shorthairs — the genetics are the same, the coat length is the difference.
Rare colors go quickly
Lilac and Odd Eyed kittens in particular are among the rarest colors we produce and tend to be reserved well before they are ever publicly listed.
Ready in Time for Christmas
Kittens born in August and September will be old enough to go home right around the holidays — timing that makes this litter window especially popular with families hoping to welcome a new kitten under the tree. If a Christmas kitten is part of your plan, this is the litter cycle to reserve from.
Perfect holiday timing
Kittens are typically ready to go home at 12–14 weeks, which places these August–September litters right in the Christmas season.
Plan ahead, not last minute
Because these litters line up with the holidays, they are historically among our fastest to reserve. Securing your spot now means avoiding the December rush.
